October 1 – Saturday
Bollywood Dandiya 2016 by Vmall and VIndus at Singapore Swimming Club is your place if you are looking for dandiya on bollywood songs. They promise hours of fun alongside lip-smacking food. Tickets for adults and kids are S$25 and S$10.
Dandiya Dance in Singapore at Choa Chu Kang, Yew Tee CC Hall is organised by the Indian Activity and Executive Committee. If you are looking to get together with the community and are in this neighborhood, just go. The tickets are S$5.
October 7 & 8 – Friday & Saturday
Navratri 2016 by Singapore Gujarati Society is for garba fans. Put on your best dress and moves because they have exciting contest like “Ranglo and Ranglee”. Spread over two days, you are promised a true Gujarati style event. The venue is Expo Drive and tickets are S$20 (adults) and S$15 (kids) for members and S$40 (adults) and S$25 (kids) for non-members.
Dandiya Night at Singapore Swimming Club is also spread over two days and promises foot tapping music on bollywood beats. There are different prices for different promotions. The online promotion says Adult tickets at S$ 25 and kids at S$10.
Dandiya Night 2016 at Anchorvale CC in Sengkang is for only one night on 8th Oct, Saturday. So if you are in the neighbourhood and want to get together with the community for dandiya, do get together. The tickets are S$10.
October 9 – Sunday
MMS Dandiya and Bhondla by Maharashtra Mandal Singapore is back after 2 years break. Come here for traditional marathi Bhondla and then a dhamal dandiya evening with both dandiya and marathi songs. Dandiya sticks will be on sale too. The venue is GIIS, Queenstown and tickets are priced at S$10 for members, S$15 for Non-members. Kids below 5 go in free.
October 15 – Saturday
Dandiya Nite 2016 organised by Tampines GRC IAEC is your place if you are looking for dandiya in a park. Priced at S$6, this also includes a vegetarian bento box.
Dhandiya 2016 organised by Pasir Ris Elias CC IAEC also offers a vegetarian buffet. The tickets are at S$10
October 21 – Friday
Bollywood Dandiya Night organised by Braddell heights IAEC is your place if you are looking for DJ Milan’s bollywood music. This is also priced at S$6.
