Bookmark these and find them at the IWA Festive Bazaar on October 3rd at Shangri-la, Orchard.  You can catch a shuttle bus from Newton MRT (Exit B) to Shangri-la from 10 AM onwards every hour. 10) For the love of D’art
Would you like to wear brushstrokes? What we mean is, don’t we all wonder sometimes if the play of colors in a painting or the whole painting was a print on our clothes? After all Art is fashionable and fashion is an art! Look out for “For D’ Love of Art” at IWA Bazaar. It is a concept started by a group of established artists who have converted their original paintings on canvas to a digital format which has been transferred onto surfaces like ceramic and fabric. The concept being unique is having an exclusive collection in limited editions of the products made.

Happy Festive Shopping!

We are a bunch of desis, very much like you, who moved to this urban land and are trying to call it home. For us too, it doesn’t matter which part of the world we go, we carry our desi likes and dislikes with us. We explore, like and love all things new, but cherish and miss the old. We do not stop by the temple so often now, but we still close our eyes and silently pray as we pass by. We explore, travel, evolve and make new friends but we stay close to our roots and loved ones. We love pizzas and satays, but nothing matches the tandoori tikkas and idli dosai from back home. We are busier in our lives than ever before, but we never miss celebrating weddings and festivals in our own grand style. This is us – you and me – Urbandesis!
